Adventure Time: Distant Lands takes viewers to the far-flung corners of Ooo, telling imaginative stories starring new characters and familiar faces alike. 

Its second episode, Obsidian, explores the tumultuous relationship between Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum through a series of flashbacks, framed by a story set in a heretofore unexplored royal domain, the Glass Kingdom.

Equal parts personal and mythic, Obsidian deftly blends Adventure Time’s fantasy setting with a deep, emotional exploration of two of its most beloved characters. 

Like all of Adventure Time, music is core to the experience of Obsidian. Stand-out tracks such as “Monster,” “Woke Up,” “See Through,” and “Eternity With You” feature vocals from the special’s main cast and offer a kaleidoscope of styles and moods: You’ll find everything from punk-rock powerfests to soulful duets on offer here, each expertly crafted with passion. 

iam8bit and Water Tower are proud to bring Marceline and Princess Bubblegum’s adventure to vinyl with a specially-mastered release. This is the Adventure Time: Distant Lands - Obsidian (Original Soundtrack) 2xLP. Wrapped in album art from Adventure Time’s own Maya Petersen, it features 32 songs from the animated special on two Glassboy Blue Vinyl discs.

On the back of disc 2, you’ll find something very special; etched into the disc itself are the lyrics to “Monster.” These lyrics were custom designed by musical artist Half Shy, so they’re a very special tribute to the incredible cast and crew that make Ooo such a magical place to be.
