Unsolicited Submission Policy

At iam8bit, we deeply value creativity and innovation. However, to protect both our community and our team from legal disputes, we maintain a strict policy against accepting or considering unsolicited creative submissions of any kind.
This includes but is not limited to submissions of game ideas, product concepts, artwork, storylines, characters, music, scripts, marketing or advertising plans, and proposals for merchandise (collectively, “Submissions”).
We ask that you please not submit any unsolicited Submissions to iam8bit or any of our employees.
If you choose to disregard this policy and make a Submission anyway, you agree to the following terms, regardless of any contrary or additional terms you may seek to apply to the Submission:
1. No Confidential Relationship. Your Submission will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. iam8bit will have no obligation to treat your Submission as confidential.
2. No Compensation or Acknowledgment. You agree that you are providing your Submission voluntarily and without any expectation of or right to payment, royalties, creative credit, or other compensation or consideration of any kind.
3. No Restrictions on iam8bit. iam8bit is free to use, disclose, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit your Submission for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without any obligation to you. iam8bit has no obligation to review, keep, acknowledge, or return the Submission and may destroy or disregard it in iam8bit’s sole discretion.
4. No Impact on iam8bit’s Rights. iam8bit may already be independently developing, or may in the future develop, content, products, or ideas that are similar or identical to your Submission. You agree that you will not assert any claim against iam8bit (including claims of infringement, misappropriation, or unfair competition) arising out of any similarity between your Submission and iam8bit’s products, services, or creative works.
5. Ownership. By making a Submission, you grant iam8bit an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the Submission in any form or media, without restriction or compensation to you. Any physical copies of a Submission you provide to iam8bit will automatically become the property of iam8bit.
6. Compliance with Law. You represent and warrant that your Submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party, and does not violate any applicable law.
In Summary: Please don’t send us creative ideas, concepts, or content. If you do send us something, you agree that iam8bit has no obligations to you, and that we may freely use your Submission for any purpose.
iam8bit may modify this policy at any time by updating this webpage. Otherwise, the terms and conditions of this policy may not be modified or waived except in written document signed by iam8bit.
