We do not sell your personal information for money. But like most online stores, our site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from advertising partners, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, and Reddit. These partners collect information about how you use our site, such as the pages you view, the products you look at, and what you buy. They use it to show you iam8bit ads on other sites and apps and to tell us how our ads perform.
Under California law and the laws of several other US states, this counts as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising.” You have the right to opt out of it. Opting out will not change your prices, your orders, or how we treat you.
How to opt out
Use either of these options. Each one works on its own.
1. Turn on Global Privacy Control. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out. You do not need to do anything else. When we detect the signal, this page shows “Opt-Out Request Honored.”
2. Contact support. Submit a request at support.iam8bit.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share” and the email address you use with us. We apply your choice to your account and that email address.
When you contact support, we use the information you give us only to find your records and act on your request.
What happens next
- We act on your request as soon as we can, and no later than 15 business days after we receive it.
- If we sold or shared your information after you sent your request but before we acted on it, we will tell the partners who received it about your request and direct them to honor it.
- We do not ask you to verify your identity to opt out, and you do not need an account.
- We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months.
Authorized agents
Someone you authorize can submit an opt-out request for you. We may ask the agent for proof of your signed permission.
Where this applies
We honor opt-out requests from every US state, whether or not your state’s law requires it.
Children and teens
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
