Forget a red carpet shindig; for the launch of Skate 3, EA wanted to rock something a little less… lame. The result was a mid-afternoon, free-for-all grind session, held at Venice Beach’s public skate park. Backed up by beats by DJ R-Rated, community kids rolled with pros, crammed their faces with free food courtesy of the “Hall of Meat” truck and freaked when Del the Funky Homosapien showed for an outdoor performance, set against a sunset on the Pacific.
